Based in Lyon (France), ESTENITY is affiliated to the Japanese company KOKYU ALCOHOL KOGYO CO., LTD. (Superior Alcohol Industry in Japanese), which has been manufacturing and marketing innovative raw materials and high-technology ingredients for the cosmetics industry since 1952.
We offer high-performance, multifunctional esters and glycols to suit a wide range of galenic formulations for your future cosmetic formulation projects.
Our ingredients, some of which come from plant sources (vegetable origin), are carefully selected, then purified and stabilised to produce high-quality products….

Technical support, innovation, project management
Since 2010, ESTENITY has a formulation laboratory dedicated to the technical support of our European customers, in close collaboration with the R&D teams of KOKYU ALCOHOL KOGYO CO., LTD. based in Japan.
Attentive to new trends, our laboratory also develops innovative and original formulations using our best ingredients; one of our formulas, the “Crystal clear lip cleansing stick” was awarded the first prize for formulation at COSMETAGORA 2018….
Our laboratory provides the best possible support for our customers’ projects, bringing them new ideas and technical solutions for novel formulations.
European legislation on chemicals
ESTENITY is responsible for managing the compliance of its products with European legislation on chemicals, REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals), which came into force on 1st June 2007 (2006/1907/EC).
The objective of this regulation is to improve the protection of human health and the environment, while encouraging the competitiveness and creativity of the chemical industry.
Under REACH, ESTENITY is the European-based only representative of KOKYU ALCOHOL KOGYO CO., LTD. and is responsible for registering its substances. We have successfully registered our products and keep a close eye on legislative developments.
